Corporate Division Assembly
Division, located in Shenyang/China 
Employment – full time 

Tasks    

• Responsible for creating efficient Vehicle Assembly Building and Facility Structure Plans and strategies in line with the Strategic development of the Plant
• Achieving the targets mentioned above requires active involvement in the design of the Structure layouts as a participant, coordinator or project leader in multi-functional international teams (depending on role)
• The Facility Planner is responsible for the project planning, installation and optimization of assembly hardware and related logistics hardware systems to agreed cost and deadline targets
• This covers the feasibility, specification, supplier selection, cost, quality, ergonomics, environment and availability of the technical solutions

Key Responsibility

• Current and future solutions, for efficiency, availability, quality and cost, including integration of new products/processes                    
• Facility specification making use of standards, benchmarks, engineering drawings, legal and technical guidelines             
• Supplier selection based on cost estimates (revenue and investment). Preferred suppliers, Price offer appraisals, tenders, specifications and coordinate with purchase dept                    
• Timing plans that coordinate the schedules and interfaces of the project    
• Confirm funding, business case, budgets, check invoices and performance levels (GR) in cooperation with the technical equipment purchase department and finance        
• Coordination of installations of machines and equipment, including budget and costs and maintenance plan                    
• Project plans and approval documents to meet legal and process requirements   
• Concept Evaluation and Feasibility investigations                    
• Development of detailed Structure and Vehicle Assembly plans to VPS principles    
• Ensure plans are compatible with the overall Central Site and Assembly strategy    

Qualification

• Bachelor/ master degree in mechanical or automotive engineering
• Knowledge of mechanical and structural engineering                    
• Knowledge of industry engineering                        
• Proficiency with computer operation and MS office knowledge            
• Skills of communication with others                        
• Competency project planning and management                    
• Proficient English                
• Must be flexible in time and work place (inc. temporary international assignments).     
• Background in automotive engineering or mechanical manufacturing knowledge, at least 4 years
• At least 4 years  experience with automotive plant preferably in control areas such as process planning or similar
• 1-3  years experience in working experience in international operating companies
