Infernum – Passion for Online Games! Infernum, a publisher and developer of free-to-play online games, is comprised of a team of industry veterans with many years of experience in the field. Our team has contributed to many international MMO success stories, such as Runes of Magic, TERA, RaiderZ, Bounty Bay Online, The Chronicles of Spellborn, Mythos, Puzzle Pirates, and many more.
Our current products Brick-Force, the sandbox-shooter, and the AAA free-to-play Dragon’s Prophet are just the beginning.
Are you looking for a new challenge in a highly motivated team with a strong vision? You’re interested in working in the games industry and perhaps you even have some work experience?
This position offers the opportunity to learn in a hands-on style. We are looking for an intern who is self-motivated, eager to face challenges, and not afraid to roll up their sleeves. We embrace those who see things differently, aren’t afraid to experiment, and who have a healthy disregard for constraints.
Intern Responsibilities:
Translation of any required texts, internal and external
Proofing of any required internal or external texts
Glossary creation and maintenance (in accordance with localization agencies and other partners)
Communication with development studio and/or partners in publishing
Your Qualifications:
Trained translator or similar education (BA or Master’s)
Fluent in English and Chinese, Chinese should be mother tongue
Very good knowledge of one of the following languages advantageous: Korean, German
Editing skills for proofing and improvement of internal and external English documents
Flexible and creative
Good organization skills
Passion for games
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office
Knowledge of TRADOS and other CAT tools is a plus

EUR 400.- per month
Internship for (minimum) 3 months, ideally 6 months
Start Date: Spring 2014
